Consumer Reports przetestował w teście autostradowym (stała prędkość 70 mil/godz - czyli ok. 112 km/h) 22 elektryki, w tym i4 M50 oraz iX xDrive50.

Jeśli chodzi o iX to trzy kwestie są ciekawe (auto było testowane na ogumieniu 20 cali 235/60):

- faktyczny zasięg iX był o 74 km większy niż szacowany przez EPA

- wśród wszystkich testowanych aut iX uplasował się na drugim miejscu z wynikiem 595 km, za Mercedesem EQS 580 (wynik 611 km) i wyprzedzając plasującą się na trzecim miejscu Teslę S Long Range (wynik 589 km)

- po osiągnięciu 0 na wskaźniku pozostałej energii iX przejechał jeszcze 48 km… ?

Znam to źródło, ale jest to raczej baza danych, a nie rzeczywiste wyniki z testów (przynajmniej nie dla wszystkich aut). Bardziej jest ono przydatne do analizy i porównania parametrów technicznych aut (jako że zawiera dużo szczegółowych danych), ale nie do porównywania realnego zasięgu.

Jeśli bowiem chodzi o zasięg, to zwróć uwagę na opisy tabel (Real Range Estimation) oraz na wszechobecne gwiazdki:

I tu właśnie jest przysłowiowy pies pogrzebany ? faktyczną wartość mają bowiem rzeczywiste testy - pod warunkiem, że jest dokładnie opisana procedura takiego testu i porównywane w nim auta są testowane dokładnie według tej samej procedury…

Co ciekawe w przywołanych wynikach Consumer Report test autostradowy (rzeczywisty) był wykonywany przy prędkości 112 km/h czyli dla takiej samej prędkości, co wyniki (estymowane) podawane przez EV-database (110 km/h).
