Hello, a little late with an answer, but nevertheless I was able to get the SSS to work with the help of tomaszf. Everything is working correctly and I was able to code my car to automatically close the door after drive out (which is a pretty annoying feature btw :)). Hello, I am sorry to write in English, but I don't know Polish language. Should you answer this post and not delete it, you can reply in Polish language - I can comprehend it a little bit and translate the rest via Google. My problem is to get the SSS working in VMware. I will try to describe everything in detail. First a little background: I bought a used notebook with native COM port just for diagnostics purposes. I also bought an ADS interface from nerwus in this topic, which is operating fine. First I used the software from that topic and those great video tutorials to get myself familiarized with the whole DIS thing. At that time I had a working DIS in VMware 5.5 based on EasyDIS v44 and DiagHeadEmulator. Current situation: I wanted to try newer DIS. I was aware, that new DIS can't code the car and I will need an SSS station. I loaded up VMware 6.5 and installed DIS base v52 together with v55 UK update. This part seems to be operating fine. I haven't tried it yet on my car, but the DIS v55 system can find the diagnostic head and both graph bars ale fully lit as seen in next screenshot: http://www.abload.de/thumb/dis_170y4.png So far so good. Then I needed to install SSS (Progman) to be able to code the car. The problem: I used this extensive guide to install SSS/Progman. I used a modified base system v3.1 (with modified HWVER.DLL) and then installed Progman v28 and v32 (I tried both version on two different installs, of course). Everything went well, but I can't see the diagnostic head in settings (the DiagHeadEmulator and IFHServ are running). It's empty as you can see. I've been playing with this for the past two weeks, but I am unable to find a solution. Could anybody help me with this? Should you need more information about my setup or anything else, just ask. I really want to solve this, or else I will have to go back to VMware 5.5 and DIS v44 that is able to code a vehicle as well.
