Here is how to do it yourself. All you need is an original CD. a Hex-editor Imgburn NavTweak (see www.x5world.com forum) and mode2cdmaker see (www.x5world.com forum) use magiciso/ultraiso to extract the CD to disk. copy language to langMk3 folder rename this file to gb_f.csf change Mk3\0116\BMWC01S\lng_rel.tbl file using a hex-editor : from 06300501langMk3/0501 to 06300502langMk3/0502 change the os-version in sw_rel.tbl using a hex-editor change folder 0501 name to 0502 in langMk3 use navtweak to edit the usw_load file and change all menus under GB to whatever text you want to have. use navtweak to replace the splashscreen. convert everything to MODE 2 using m2cdmgui16 or mode2cdmaker burn with imgburn. check if format is Mode2/xxxx 0116 refers to the hardware version of your nav-computer. You can use the language file from the MKIV-folder. There are riscs. 1. I've had some people complain that the volume of the voice is lower. 2. It's very difficult to undo this software-upgrade.
